Absolutely gorgeous writing. Isn’t it amazing how we can perceive the world as either humdrum or a miracle, all depending on our shells and lenses.

I’m so glad I found myself a better fitting shell and you!!!

Beautiful. You are SO significant! Those tears signify that. You matter more than you can fathom in this incomprehensible cosmos.

A wonderful piece, Caroline! Without going back to check, I especially liked when you said something like I was transformed into “a bundle of swirling atoms,”— I may not have that spot on, but your intent of the way the universe can consolidate all of us, and remind us how small we are, was beautifully portrayed. So enjoyable, and so true! Thank you for this!

Thank you Sea, I know you understand all this mushy material of life!

Our perception gets clearer, barriers more transparent, always leading to unity. In between matter and spirit we exist. Trading cleverness for bewilderment. May we be in awe, humble, grateful and brave 🫶❤️🙃

I love all of this softening!!! Isn’t it gorgeous how the more grace we give ourselves, the more tender we become? I, too, have softened as I’ve grown older and it has been an incredible gift I’ve given to myself and to others in my life. I love that you brought us along on this particular unfolding underneath the solar eclipse. As always, you described it beautifully and I read in AWE of your sumptuous imagery. Thank you, Caroline. ✨

Yes!!! In the effort to shield myself from the bad stuff, I also cut myself off from the good — I was hard. It’s such a gift to be forever changing. Thank you for being here with me 🥰🥰

"enlivening" is a great way to describe how it is to find your writing, sense that mushy core which nonetheless rallies with boldness to follow paths leading to increased awareness confidence exploration xo

Dog barks, excitedly.

“Whatsamatta, Ghost?”

The sky begins to dim. Oh, THAT’S it. Must be time for the eclipse I read about.

Ghost goes inside. I go make a sandwich.

I’ve never heard awe described so perfectly. This is exactly how I experience it and for all the reasons why. I feel entirely blessed when I’m in it. It always brings tears to my eyes, profound inner joy. I feel like one of the lucky ones. I adore silence in a way most can’t understand. It’s my gateway to peace. Thank you for putting my experience into words.
