Hi. I’m Caroline.
I’m a full-time archivist living in Washington D.C. with my perfect but routinely naughty pup, Delilah.
I’m a new creative. Sometimes, I feel like I am standing on shaky ground. But I’ve learned to say, without thoughts of inadequacy, that I am a writer. I always have been, I just didn’t know it.
With the help and continuous encouragement of a few beautiful souls, I find myself here — with this newsletter, this space — and I am proud and grateful. Every moment has been magical.
I’ve put together this piece, with the wonderful direction of

I like talking to myself. But I love talking to you.
I believe there is beauty in vulnerability, resiliency, and the wisdom that arises from sharing and connecting.

Talking to Myself:
I started writing because my mind was spiraling. I needed an outlet. I began one day by crying on a treadmill at OrangeTheory, and ended it by scribbling on a blank page. I’d never felt such relief.
I don’t want that feeling to end.
Subscribers can expect a new piece on Saturdays.
Talking to Myself is a journey of self-discovery and growth, in which I share my life experiences, both past and present. This newsletter serves as a raw installation where I paint my narrative and weave tales of triumphs, challenges, and the invaluable lessons that happen along the way.
Walk with me, as I reflect on my life — the winding roads of self-discovery.
